Hypnotherapy is still unknown to the public and the practice suffers from misconceptions conveyed by spectacular hypnosis demonstrations on TV. The reality is quite different… There are several types of hypnosis: traditional, performance, conversational, spiritual, or self-hypnosis, to name only a few. Personally, I practice Ericksonian and spiritual hypnosis.
Unfortunately, misconceptions about hypnosis influences public perception and generates unnecessary fears…
Hypnotherapy uses the word « therapy » because it aims to relieve or heal. That’s the main difference between this method and performance hypnosis. In hypnotherapy, we define your goals together to implement the changes you need to achieve them. Of course, this type of work has more impact when it is done on the unconscious mind. When a subject is hypnotized, he or she enters a state of heightened receptivity to learning, which facilitates the process of change.
NPL techniques are helps and reinforce some hypnosis technics. NLP can work on inconscious and conscious level, those technics do not necessarely need induction or hypnosis.I am not an NLP practionner but i uses some of the techniques learned at school as extra tools to anchor some beneficial emotions and states related to your best memories during your hypnosis .
Here are a few common disorders which can be addressed through hypnosis: alcoholism, allergy, obsession, weight, phobia, lack of focus on goals, stress, stage fright, sterelitis, nervousness, migraines, insomnia, poor memory, bad self-image, fatigue, premature ejaculation, relationship difficulties, impaired development, diabetes, burns, tinnitus, anger/hate etc…My goal is to accompany you by listening carefully and caringly. We will create a trusting environment so that you can develop your own resources and your own inner strength. This will allow you to change your behavior in a beneficial way for your well-being.
